Radio Locator

A radio locator is a website which enables you to identify and locate different radio stations across the US. It lists all the U.S radio stations that may not possess a website, or live audio stream on the internet. It shows a list of the various radio stations that may be located across the terrestrial of U.S.
History

Radio LocatorThe radio locator was formerly called the ‘MIT List of Radio Stations’. It was developed in the mid 1990s by WMBR, the MIT radio station operated by students. It revealed a list of different websites of radio stations during the days when the Web was still young. After some time, a lot of radio stations started streaming their audio programs on the internet.

This led to the maintainers of the ‘MIT List of Radio Stations’ adding links to the different audio streams, so that anyone could have access to these radian stations and to also listen to them while on the internet. In 2000, the list was separated from MIT and assumed the name radio locator .

• It helps you find radio stations by city, zip code or state.
• It helps you locate different radio stations across the US.
• It functions by filtering radio stations by FM/AM, music format (R&B, Gospel etc) and reception range also.
• Also helps you locate unused vacant frequencies that may be present within the area.
• Gives you the stations that also broadcast radio over the web.

This radio locator works mostly for radio stations and cities that are in the United States only, and don’t detect radio stations located across other countries. So if you happen to find yourself in the United States, that will be a good time to explore the numerous radio stations provided by service providers located there. Examples of radio locator manufacturers are;
• GROZA radio locator
• K2000 Bracelet Locator
• GPS-560 gps locator
• Real-time Security GPS Locator
• Radio-Locator

There are also other radio locators which perform other functions outside locating radio stations in the United States. They include; Car gps locator, Pipeline & Cable locator, Family Locator, Remote Key locator, Watch Mobile Phone locator, Luggage Tag locator, Optical and Cable locator, Radio Pet locator, Child Frequency Locator, Metal Locator, and several others more.
The above list shows that there is more you can do with a radio locator than you might have ever thought before. It provides you with a broad spectrum of options to choose from. For example;

The GROZA Radio Locator
The radio locator is created for detecting hazards for flight locations of active thunderstorms, estimation of air plane drift angle, ground mapping useful for landmark orientation, and detecting other hazards. They are installed and put in the following transport and civil planes; AN-26, TU-134, AN-30, IL-86, YAK-42, YAK-40, IL-62 and several other planes.

The radio locator employs the use of a distinct and unique search engine to locate all the radio stations that can be perceived at a particular geographical location in the US. This search engine for locating radio stations, takes into consideration each radio station’s frequency, transmitter power, antenna height and antenna pattern.

Also takes into account the geology and topography of the surrounding area and location. It is not difficult to use, as it only encompasses you just entering the data that are required concerning the radio station that are seeking. And when it has all been entered, just click done and all the radio stations that fit those specifications will pop up for you to choose your desired one.

You should know that shortwave radio stations are not listed, as the radio locators are only broadcast radio stations and that is the AM and FM stations located in the United States. But you might still find some few international shortwave stations appearing in your search, this is because in Europe and other locations in the world, there is a less distinction between broadcast and shortwave stations.

People don’t have a clear understanding between these two terms. Know now that these terms are completely different and do not mean the same thing. Note also that the radio locators cannot list the audio format in which each radio station is broadcasting their signals on the web. There might be some speculations that in the near future, this might be possible.

This radio locator is not a facebook or twitter, so cannot help you find your friends or people that are working in radio stations. They are only used for finding broad cast stations across the United States. All this said, you should have a clear picture of how a radio locator works and have more knowledge about them by now. This will guide you in case you stumble on a radio locator site.

Sex as a process

Author: Paul Lasaro II

A sex can be looked at differently. Just beginning with the same name. A sex is also activities performed by people being engaged in a process of sex. It would sound better – an old hippies’ slogan a€zMake lovea€. These words sound more delicate. Anyway, it is a matter of everybody’s taste how to call this process. A sex or making love are not at all only names. This time we could think how simple or complicated this activity is? Many who are not beginners might say that there is nothing complicated in it ….

For many it might seem so simple as to go and buy some bread in a nearest shop. Nevertheless, not everything is so simple as it seems. If we perceive love making as an everyday activity then after some time routine creeps up and then joy of it is less than going after some bread to a shop. The experience is useful but the routine causes boredom. So it could be accepted that love making should be tried to be more creative every time we do it. Even it is just a spontaneous burst of passion at least half a minute of reflections will be useful how to add to this process something novel, something that does not have  tatty experience, some small but not experienced nuances. If you start then combine a desire with inspiration and imagination. It will help to turn a simple sex into the love making process worth an artwork.

Love making also requires a delicate art of observation, like a sensitive sensor you have to feel your and your partner’s mood. The high point of flying will not be reached if one desires the other right in the middle of the forest, under the wet tree but the other dreams about soft feather-beds in a warm house. Or thinks about anything except love making. You can try to persuade the other  but you can also think how to inspire, tempt the other one. To be able to unite the dreams of both. It’s a time when a perception of a refined sensor is needed. You must choose the right form of speech and time. If your offer will be, for example,- fu*k me here!, then answer can be – fu*k off!! At the same time it can be completely different – unbutton your pants! Everything depends on how precisely you have felt your partner’s mood or have created an atmosphere. It’s possible that sometimes no words are needed but some other time sweetly romantic verses long like a freight might come in handy. You have to catch the moment when the words are unnecessary and the sweetest poetry of the whole world mixed with some spicy and seductive peppers are needed.

Each lover also needs to be endued with observation skills like a radio-locator. It has to be noticed what is going on in neighborhood. Otherwise, for example, if it happens in the forest the process of love making can accidentally turn into a “tattoo” for the scouts who were picking cones near by. For somebody it might seem exciting but you can not be sure whether your beloved will be able to appreciate the scouts’ comments about her naked backside.

Besides, you must be able to calculate precisely the time. For example, you have to foresee how long the granny of your sweet-heart will stay at work and does she come home by tram or by Porsche. If she comes too early – at the hottest moment, then you might hear her comments about the socks in her candy punnet or a bra hanging on an exclusive chandelier. It doesn’t sound sexually enough.

Very important but small matter and it is not at all small – a condom. If the other person expects it – it’s a request that can’t be discussed. If because of lack of condom you get a turn-down, blame yourself! Love making is not a travelling by tram without a ticket where you can try to arrange something with a conductor or just pay a fine. Still remember that a condom should be ready as a Walther handgun in James Bond hands – it must come out of the blue, at the right time, ready for work and protection. Don’t leave them in a big packing, they might be packed so tight as it has been done by a retired welder.

It is very precise to compare love making with dancing. Not in vain women seem to evaluate men’s skills in bed according to their dancing skills. You must choose the right dance of the right time – when a waltz is needed, when a Charleston and when the dance “of little birds”. About hundred years ago it was really popular. There are moments just for lambada time. There was a such one – extraordinarily sexual! A lot of possibilities but you have to choose the most suitable.

When you have come to a€zdancing’ you have to feel the partner’s rhythm, adjust yourself to it, have a feeling who of you both can lead the dance better. Here lies a small difference comparing with a dance hall where the dance is usually led by a man. In bed also a woman could wish to do it or change the roles time by time. It’s perfect if you can agree on it without any long discussions feeling the right direction.

Also here skills of careful observer can come in useful, you have to know the wishes of the other person, range of feelings, a degree of willingness and a lot of other indicators. It is important to know when the time is to “go in” and when to wait better, hold back or play a little. The better your observation skills, the bigger chances reach the tops. Only remember – you can’t turn into a pilot of a fast warplane who hecticly compresses joystick following with salient eyes the indicators on the air computer and getting in touch with a central office trying to find the right moment for using up the winged rockets. Most likely it won’t work. If only you can carefully listen to your feelings and try to read your sweet-heart’s face. Especially, if her eyes are lightly closed.

Does it sound complicate? Big experts may say – it’s not so. Perhaps. There is nothing for it but I wish everybody to be able to combine desire with an inspiration and flight of fancy.

Have a nice day and be careful,

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
What locator technology is best for robot control? Light? Sound? Radio?
I’m using computer control to precisely change position and orient a large robot that traverses a 2 square acre area over rough ground. It’s position is relative to a pole in the middle of the area with unobstructed line of sight. I’ll use azimuth and altitude to determine the position of the robot relative to the pole. I’ll use the same technology to determine the position of targets and obstacles.

What technology is best? Light? Sound? Radio? Other?
The DARPA Grand Challenge sounds like a much more complex project, but the information I’ve found on the Internet related to this is helpful. Thank you. Ideally, I’d like to find device1 that can locate the relative position of device2 and spit out the position.

That’s the most difficult aspect of this project.

    • ANSWER:
The DARPA Grand Challenge dealt with a similar topic. Ultimately the winner discovered that it wasn’t so much the sensors themselves that were successful but how you process the data. Light (laser) and sound (radar) have both been used for a relatively long period of time to map out terrain.

From an automation standpoint you would probably be better off with a laser. This will give you discrete data points that you can deal with; you might have a harder time with sound data.

There was an excellent episode of the TV show Nova related to the Grand Challenge. Last I looked (about a year ago) it was still available on Hulu.

  2. QUESTION:
Does anyone have experience with the Loc8tor?
This is a radio locator. Tags are attached to children, animals and personal belongings. They can be tracked used a handheld thingamabob.

Has anyone used it to locate dogs (or cats) OUTSIDE AND on the move? I’d like to use it to keep track of my dogs when we hike. I know there are other locators which can be used for the same purpose, but they cost a lot more and are more than I need.

    • ANSWER:
Never heard of it – I use a GPS tracker device (collar) for my dogs. You can purchase them at Petsmart for about .00 or so…

  3. QUESTION:
Is there a way to search for certain electronics near you? (Not a Store Locator)?
I was looking to find a Logitech G13 except Best Buy, Microcenter, and obviously Radio Shack don’t carry them and I was trying to see if there was I way I could search for stores that carried it in my area. I thank you for any help in advance. =)

    • ANSWER:
I would try Google “Logitech G13-your city, your state”
Or yellowpages.com for local electronic stores

  4. QUESTION:
why the airliner “Boeing-727″ with 127 passengers on board disappeared suddenly (near Miami, the USA)
    from the screens of radio-
locators, but in 10 minutes it suddenly again appeared on them; on the
runway in turned out that the pilots and the passengers’ watches
    were 10 minutes slow

    • ANSWER:
are they making fool of us: after being tracked by Radars , Sattelite etc?

  5. QUESTION:
If you were put in the middle of the jungle what 3 items would you have?
No cell phones, radios, unlimited anything, motor vehicles, gps locator, or anything electonic. If u pick a gun, ammo is not included.
If u pick extra ammo, u get 1 shot

    • ANSWER:
knife, fire starter . mosquito net. you can make anything you need there. such as snares, cooking utensil’s water collection etc.
